Staacks Gallery West Kirby - fresh British art & design

Popped to West Kirby on the Wirral and  Staacks Art Gallery this week   http://www.staacks.co.uk/  to see Kara and deliver some new prints and applied art including my first ever three colour miniature editioned relief print of seven birds and a range of 8 x 10 inch mounted digital card reproductions on banana leaf paper of fish, seahorses, birds, butterflies and cats - nature is wonderful!

Staacks maintain a regular stock of my work. They were the first commercial gallery to take me on in 2010.  They have lots of lovely things for customers who appreciate British design that is beautiful, unique and affordable.

Mousehole - view from the Sandpiper Gallery

This is the view from the front door of the Sandpiper Gallery in Moushole Cornwall. Sandpiper agreed to stock a range of my small prints and postcard packs in April 2011 - I have been visiting Mousehole for 17 years and had often popped into the gallery which stocks contemporary and original art, design, furniture - all the kinds of things I like. -  A great time of year to visit Mousehole is December when the harbour is decked out in christmas lights. The coastal walk from Mousehole to Lamorna is stunning. Sandpiper Gallery, 2 Carn Topna, Mousehole.

Trees

Working on this new small print exploring the shapes and forms of different trees inspired by the arboretum at the back of my house. I have been trying out some variations using two or three colours and also experimenting with tone. Because the print plate is scaled down it is easy to be playful with the test prints as they don't take up too much space, ink, paper, and time.
