A days work

Spent the day at home working on the third print in my Hilbre Island inspired series which will be part of an exhibition at Staacks Gallery West Kirby to celebrate their third year. Started off with a
Gouache sketch of an Oyster Catcher -then produced foam stencils of each element of the design. Applied five colours starting with blue,black,white,yellow then orange.
Very satisfying to see them drying on the line, one of them will be off to the framers tomorrow. It's great to be working with a new technique.
