Etching week 1

Made a start at the Bluecoat this week with attended week one of a four week intro to safe etching class taught by studio manager Emma Gregory. Etching is a more complex printing method than I am used to but I thought it was time for a challenge - and an evening class is a great way to get new perspectives and insights into work. The image below shows my first etching which I hand tinted with watercolour. Really enjoying it the course so far.
