Oyster Catchers

I have been coastal walking for my inspiration on the Wirral out to Little Eye in West Kirby making the most of improved september weather. The first visit introduced me to flocks of Oyster Catchers and I have been working on some new ideas in my sketchbook. On my second visit I found lots of their feathers - I was amazed at the variety of shapes and patterns of the these. Found a fascinating blog which documents the wildlife around Hilbre
