Introduction to silkscreen printing

Two weeks ago I started a 4 week evening class at the Bluecoat Print Studio in Liverpool. The three hour session is taught by Martin Kochany from Hot Bed Press in Manchester
- their are 5 of us on the course. I would totally recommend doing creative classes like this, it's a great way to expand your creative directions and I am really enjoying approaching this subject from a fresh perspective and seeing my work in a different context ie not on my kitchen table! I have been working in my sketchbook drawing in Pentel brush pen and ink, and working over black and white photocopies to try out a few different approaches to colour and composition. I will start printing soon.
