Water horse silk screen print

Returned to the Bluecoat print studio this week and started work on the red Waterhorse print. I did the drawing for the horse using poster paint. Exposed this on a very small speedball textile screen that came in a Tee printing kit that I bought last year.
I used cut paper stencils for the pattern and overworked in gold pencil when i got home to plan the final image. It's a work in progress and I am still practicing my squeegee pulling technique and getting the consistency of ink just right.
