Agapanthus Trengwainton

I am working on a new project for a large silk screen print inspired by the long rows of Agapanthus that are a feature of the garden at the National Trust property in Trengwianton, Madron, Cornwall. The most important thing about my design will be the colour which is a very particular shade of purple/blue. The incredible structures of the flowers and buds as they first come into bloom were very satisfying to draw - aint nature an awsome thing! For some reason I never get great results growing them on the Wirral but I will keep trying!
