Wirral Spring Exhibition 2011
Two of my small relief prints "Four Sail Boats" and "Little Red Owl" have been selected for the Wirral Spring Exhibition 2011 which takes place at the Williamson Art Gallery, Birkenhead, CH43 1UB from 15 April - 22 May 2011. As an 11 year old a defining moment came for me when I exhibited a sculpture in the gallery in the mid 1970's Wirral Schools Exhibition. That piece was entitled "The Hand of Doom" and consisted of a plaster cast of a rubber glove painted green. Everytime I visit the gallery part of me remembers a frisson of pleasure when I stood as a kid looking in awe at "The Hand of Doom" - Happy days.....
