Feathering the nest

It's been ages since I carved a vinyl plate, I decided it was high time. I have been working on this composition from drawings produced at the Lady Lever Art Gallery this week. I carved the vinyl, inked and printed the plate. I started to create pencil comps of the finished design to determine the colours that might be involved. I am wondering if it might end up as a four colour silk screen print, which might be ambitious but means I can work at a bigger scale possibly up to A3 if I print at the Bluecoat - will think about it over the next few days.....
